Jo Baker, Managing Director/Proprietor

Our founder and Managing Director Jo Baker graduated from Birmingham University in 2003 with a 2.1 Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Sport and Exercise Science. Jo has also completed courses in Personal Training, Nutrition, Weight Management, and GP Referral and researched the benefits of exercise in Cardiac Rehabilitation programmes. Jo worked as a Personal Trainer for 'Learning Well' a Sport England and National Lottery funded pilot project looking at the benefits and business case for introducing workplace wellness programmes before setting up Lovely & Healthy in August 2006.

Jo says "The idea for Lovely & Healthy came from working for a number of employers after graduating from University and realising that many of my colleagues were struggling with their health. I researched statistics like how much sickness absence costs employers in the UK and the variety of reasons given for taking time off sick and I knew that if I could help employers to help their employees establish and maintain a healthy lifestyle I would have a successful and rewarding business!" Jo is a keen surfer and enjoys running, boxing, yoga and using free weights to keep fit.

Nikki Saveker, Operations Director

Nikki's role is to manage the service delivery to our clients to ensure quality standards are met and maintained. Project managing specific events for the larger client also falls under Nikkis responsibilities as well as liaison with outside supporting Agencies and Staff. Nikki has a degree in IT and regularly puts these skills to use with all things technical at the Lovely & Healthy Head Office.

Nikki says "It has been wonderful being part of Lovely & Healthy from the very beginning, I have really enjoyed being involved with the Company and seeing it go from strength to strength and I am looking forward to even more exciting times ahead. The topic of wellness is gathering momentum every day in the media and there is now a wealth of statistics and reports to strengthen the business case for organisations investing in the health and wellbeing of their employees. Lovely & Healthy is at the forefront of the wellness revolution, we love coming up with new and innovative ways to engage UK businesses in the importance of establishing and maintaining a healthy lifestyle for their staff. It's safe to say I love my job and I know the work we do is helping others which makes it even better!"

Nikki is also a qualified Lifeguard and Pool Attendant, Level One Hockey Coach and a regular Gym user. In her spare time Nikki enjoys taking part in a variety of outdoor pursuits such as camping, kayaking, walking and cycling.

Anna Titley, Business Development Executive

Anna joined Lovely & Healthy as an intern during her summer break from university and we liked her so much we asked her to stay. Anna now works regularly on our website and is also responsible for producing our quarterly news letter called 'Apple Tree'.

Anna says "Lovely and Healthy offers such a wide range of services tailor made to suit individual needs. It has been proven over and over how much increased physical activity and fun can increase production and motivation. I recognise how beneficial bringing this to the foreground in the workplace can be, both for the business and the individual. I firmly believe that a little inspiration and provision of convenient facilities is all some people need to participate in regular exercise".

Anna is a wonderful cook and a great team player keeping us all amused and well fed! Netball is her main sport but Anna also enjoys going to the gym, playing badminton and practicing surfing with her Ollypop towel.

Hash Kapadia, Business Development Executive

Hash joins the team with a wealth of experience in marketing and sales plus a degree in Sport, Physical Education and Community Studies. Hash has been working to develop our customer base over the summer months and is now working alongside the rest of the team to grow the business.

Hash says "I am passionate about helping people to become healthier and I want to make a difference. I have always loved sport, especially football and my job at Lovely & Healthy allows me to put in to practice the things I learnt on my course at University. I enjoy working for Lovely & Healthy because my role is varied and there are excellent opportunities for training and development".
