Jo Baker BSc(Hons) Sport & Exercise Science
Director/Exercise Consultant
Jo Baker graduated from Birmingham University in 2003 with a BSc. (hons.) in Sport and Exercise science. Since then she has gone on to achieve qualifications in Personal Training, Nutrition, Weight Management, and GP Referral. Jo is a keen surfer and enjoys running, boxing, yoga and using free weights to keep fit.
Jo is passionate about helping people to become healthier. Her role as Managing Director and personal trainer requires her to inspire people to look at their lifestyle and make positive changes.
Dr Zufishan Rafi
Dr Rafi has years of medical experience and uses it to assess peoples fitness requirements based on their current health and past medical history.
Liv Pembroke
Liv's main passion is rowing although she is a keen runner too. She enjoys the competitive side to the sport, along with the social benefits of being involved in a close team.
Robyn Pearson
Robyn aspires to compete internationally on the karate circuit - well into her old age - and why not? Martial arts have been a part of her life since she was 7 years old. She particularly appreciates the way that exercise keeps her energised and provides an expanding network of new friends.
Mike Akeroyd
Mike has competed for his country in athletics and has reached a semi professional level playing football. Most of his dedicated training takes place on the track or in the gym, where he is known for pushing himself as far as possible.
Shaun Daly
From the age of four, Shaun has had an interest in Sport. He played football for Cardiff until his teens, before playing for Northampton Town in his later footballing career. Sport keeps him active and has made him lots of new friends.
Keith Pugh
Keith loves team sports. He currently plays for the Birmingham Lions American Football team. He also has over 6 years experience in martial arts, including kung fu and tai chi. He insists on the importance of exercising every day for the full benefits.
Charlotte Dennis
Gymnastics and Trampolining come top on Charlotte's favourite forms of exercise. She has competed for Birmingham University in trampolining and came 14th in the BUSA finals. She has even tried Ultimate Frisbee and has taught gymnastics and tag rugby in America.
Joanne Braybrook
Joanne loves the way that it's easy to keep fit with little or no equipment, listing jogging and sit-ups as her most frequently used exercises. Her dedication lies with Lacrosse but she has experience in hockey, fencing, athletics and horse riding.
Alison Hale - Holistic Therapist
Alison's interest and career in holistic therapies was established in a bid to combat the stressful challenges witnessed and experienced in everyday life. Alison believes that these life-stress issues can be tackled through the restoration of physical, emotional and mental balance.
Alison specialises in Reflexology; Indian Head Massage; Reiki; Thermo-Auricular Therapy and Hot Foot Stone Therapy, Colour Analysis and Image Consultations.
Sally Rosemary - Holistic Therapist
Sally's broad training spans several years and enables her to offer a holistic, integrated approach to health & wellbeing. She specialises in Life Alignment which helps to align physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. She also offers other holistic therapies such as Reflexology, Iridology, Vortex Healing, Aromatherapy Massage, Hopi Ear Candle treatments, Reiki, Nutritional Guidance and Phytobiophysics or Flower and Tree Remedies.
Susan Gardner - Holistic Therapist
Susan has trained in many complementary therapies including Reiki, Crystal Therapy, EFT or Emotional Freedom Technique, Champissage or Indian Head Massage, Reflexology, Thermo-Auricular Therapy and Hot Stone Foot Therapy.
